I usually post up a wish list of items I want from amazon, guitar stuff, kitchen gadgets, grilling gadgets and such with a swath of a price range from about $20-50.00.

In my youth I thought draft beer gave me worse hangovers, in my somewhat mature years I realized it was much smoother and easier to over serve myself resulting in aforementioned hangovers. Now I've learned to quite enjoy it in moderation.

One thing to note is you don't have to squish the components down into it, just needs to make contact.

What temp you soldering at? I solder at 700-750F get on off quick and rarely an issue with Blu getting sticky and soft!
