    you can encase it in concrete, epoxy, goop or asbestos and Robert will hack it off, you can add extra parts, fake traces, hidden vias and all sorts - and Robert will work it out you can hide bits under the jacks, and they will be found, but if you have a sharpie, you will defeat him!

    there was a thread a few weeks ago where someone had done that. I like the idea of yours as a wee IC like plug in module - and possibly common breakout boards with space for it.

    I've no idea about Buffalo FX stuff, but PastPX made a tiny version of a MoogerFooger MF101 which I absolutely love owning

    That’s great - you’ve found the problem on number 3 and then developed a technique to solder reliably - sounds like a win! I always try and put my fs down the bottom of a 1590a like you have - more space for a foot!
