At least in a bathroom it makes some kinda sense. I remember visiting the US and being shocked (not literally) that there were power sockets and switches in the bathroom?! In the UK we keep mains voltage and water separate.

Honest question (from a bass player) Why would guitarists want a pedal to recreate a “studio” type sound? Live bands don’t really sound like studio recordings (and that’s not a bad thing.) And in a studio, this pedal might be the best thing ever, but surely it’s easier to do it all in software...

That’s great - you’ve found the problem on number 3 and then developed a technique to solder reliably - sounds like a win! I always try and put my fs down the bottom of a 1590a like you have - more space for a foot!
