I did play with this way of doing for a bit. I like it but the other way takes the octave all the way out like a kill switch would. It suits my tastes better this way. But I have a superfuzz build I'm thinking of implementing this in.

Mmm kind of. It oscillate but isn't really tuneable like the ds1. The more octave thats dialed in the more it gets choked out and makes what you play very glitch, almost like a broken tremolo. And then less octave equals screaming noise but also reactes to playing.

This is where my hyper fuzz is so far. I'm particularly interested in knowing if I can improve upon the octave blend. It works well though so maybe against all odds i did good. Gain changed to A250k for MORE GAIN. The Boost is skipped over so Scooped and Full can be wired to a B50k blend pot...

Im not sure this is the right category for this so I can move it if need be. Why so many voltage dividers biasing the op amps? R4,5 12,13 18,19 Couldn't i just put one pair with a capacitor to create 4v5/vb and run from there?
