    SOLVED Whipped Cream Overdrive Problem

Current Tayda fees after new tariff?

Except for some 60 countries including all of the EU and Switzerland to fight forced labor... not even joking... My customers in the U.S. have to pay an additional 12.5% for any product, and a 10 CHF fee on top (around 15 USD). Switzerland does not allow shipping unless duties are paid...

    TL072 Alternatives

It will sound exotic but give a go to the LF412 / 353. You may never go back to TL0xx...

    Amek Mozart MZ15-RN

Now if you'd want to put both in one enclosure, just add a footswitch (or two, if you'd like to have them both independently), a power supply (with an LT1054 for example to get a negative rail, 100nF caps between each power poles and ground close physically to each ICs), an LED, a couple of...

Now if we look at the frequency sweep, we get a nice range on MF1: Ranging from 555Hz to 15.9kHz, compared to the 350Hz to 15kHz statement in the manual. For MF2 (Swapping the 5.6nF to 56nF), we get: Ranging from 55.78Hz to 1.57kHz, compared to the 40Hz to 2.5kHz announced.

Looking at the Q with the gain all the way up, we see a nice range of useable settings. Much more fun that a switch, come one! The center frequency does not move and the gain goes from 18.48 dB ccw to 19.44 dB cw at center frequency. Now the interesting thing is the marketing claim once...

Let's get into spice and have a look at the +/- knob, I'll call it gain just because. First of all, here is the gain mapped with the original logarithmic taper: As you can see, it is not very linear (pun intended) and unity is at 70% clockwise. Now with a linear taper, unity is at noon and it...

So... throughout these years of obsession, I never really could find much documentation about this console and its "magic" Rupert Neve strips. As far as I know, only three "major" recordings happened to have used a Mozart: Nine Inch Nails and the Downard Spiral, Buensa Vista Social Club, and...

Now, if we skip the overwhelming switching systems and merge all these pages that give you a bit of it all in odd places and isolate MF1 for example, we get a better picture of what is going on in this circuit... Add an output load, a footswitch and a power supply (the original ran at +/-...

I have been obsessed with this console EQ for a a couple of decades and finally put a mid section in a box. Long story short: Herr Neve was hired as a consultant by Amek in the 90's with unlimited budget and zero constraint to come up with a channel strip to integrate into their flagship...

    Pepperbox / Volt Thrower - 18v -> 36v!

I use the ltc1144 for a +/-18v circuit, works great for clean circuits, but if you are clipping it anyways, may not be worth the 10 bucks of the charge pump honestly, maybe try 12v first with something cheaper like a 7660 and if you hear no difference, you saved 10 bucks :)

Current Tayda fees after new tariff?

Was ruled illegal by the supreme court on Feb 20th, but then the leader of the free world did that. So, back to square one :) Meaning most carriers only accept shipments with PDDP... at the moment, shipping a 199 USD pedal to the us, costs me 93.70 USD in shipping fees, compared to 25 about a...

Measured odd and common diodes IV curves

Awesome! thanks for that, we got similar results too! I did measure a 100 of each for these, couple of wild ones indeed looking at max measured for example that could have been an 1n4148. Main reason for me personally to like them is that they are obsolete, thus mojo scoring goes up drastically...

    Dual pt2399

I use two PT2399 in parallel for a pedal, that works pretty decent. Just two standard PT2399 datasheet delay lines, going into the same summing opamp with the dry signal. tweak the response of each line with the built in input opamp of the PT2399s (hooked up as multiple feedback band pass...
