Buffer for muzzle - where to input?

The circuit is working as designed, it's just the led which I would usually use to indicate whether the effect is on or off, is on when the effect is off, and off when the effect is working. When the effect is off, the led is on and red when I am not playing, and green when I am, as I would...

Buffer for muzzle - where to input?

ok, so after fiddling with this again, i have a new issue, but im hoping this one isnt too hard. I've got the muzzle working after sorting out a wiring issue, I had thought that the switched tip was going to ground on the jack, but its to a different pin - fixed that, and now the gate is gating...

Buffer for muzzle - where to input?

I didn't want to build the muzzle unless I could find the chip and it had been out of stock for this site for months. Found one and ordered all my parts, by the time the Tayda order rocked up this week, Robert had the retrofit back in stock 🥲

Buffer for muzzle - where to input?

I had also suspected that there would already be a buffer....sorry my schematic reading isn't good enough to recognise one when I see it. Even better I'll just pull it entirely. 👍

Buffer for muzzle - where to input?

This is potentially more of a sanity check than anything else. I'm building a muzzle, and I'm using a basic relay, as well as a simple jfet buffer for what I hope is the input. I heard this circuit likes a buffered input so I figured internally would be good. It's just occurred to me that the...

Should I expect to pay Tariffs on Tayda Orders?

An australian is generally up about $22usd for 3 or more $8 pcbs from PPCB, and we dont even have that tariff mess. (Not a complaint Robert, just an observation)

    War Scythe: "Butcherbird Fuzz"

I have Australian grey butcherbirds in the reserve in front of my house frequently. I think I can hear them now as I type this and although apparently they also do impale food I've never seen it. My wife and I were walking along a nearby trail one spring and in a cut-through (it's a rail trail...

Your best/favorite high gain pedal combo's of today

I can't bring myself to buy a metalzone because I cannot deal with side jacks. And if I want to order a PCB from GCI it's like $40aud to post. Please Robert, metalzone pcb

Chuck D. Bones Bass Klon (AionFX Refractor)

Fucking pissing myself that I picked that without having to look it up, then tried to sing it to my wife, then had to play it on Spotify while I sung your lyrics over the top. Thanks for that. Great work.

Sourcing and measuring J201 JFETs for a Chop Shop

I'd just get them here. PPCB stocks j201. I've had no issues with the chop shop getting j201 to work as it has the bias trims, the desolate fuzz was a ... problem.

    Tayda packing and shipping

I've had orders of just parts ship in often the same day, even literally 3hrs later. Enclosures are typically 1-3 weeks. If no enclosures id send a polite email

    Nein

I built one of these And socketed the gsdsg I then used it to match the idss on the j201s I have soldered to male-male pins. I then matched as closely as I could for only the idss value for my Nein fuzz and I'm fairly sure it sounds right.

    zero's various pedal builds

So basically I've built about 20 new pedals, and almost all of them I'm fairly sure are not for me after about 10mins use. I have really got to buy a breadboard. My other life lesson is that if I think the Duocast will do a passable enough job on it, I definitely shouldnt build it. That pedal...
