Is there a particular bias point people should look for with the gate and bbd trims, or are these up for personal preference/ component variability? I have a big and little lowtide and love them, but am never certain I have them set correctly or not.

Last year's Lowtide - everytime I put this on, it just sings to me. Uberdrive - my preferred clean boost Kliche - decided I quite like the klon type, need to build another bass / unmodded at some point Promethium - loving this with the high control at anything other than dimmed...

Now all we need is a demo of you playing the troglodyte into that hm-2 😋

As an update, I bought a new 1590bb2 enclosure for my lowtide (I had wanted one anyway, I didn't like the height difference between this one 1590b and all my other 125b) and I bought this footswitch from Tayda...

Oh man, clipping, trimming and tinning wire is by far my least favourite part of building pedals.

A quick look tells me that the j201 are what you'd be after, these are smd j201 mounted to an adaptor which you can then solder to the neurocyton board. Those trimmers also appear to be 3362p type going off the photo. The board has 5 holes but you'll only use 3, the 5 holes are just for...

Rehoused my lowtide in 1590bb2, gave me room for a relay...mmm soft touch. Has tape underneath and a piece of plastic on the back cover to shield. Also made a Moonn dromtydning The drill measure was a bit off, had to bend the pots And I got a soic chip for it on stilts

There's no decent 6505/5150 preamp pcb available is there? (the Aion Amptweaker sounds inconclusive I believe) I have one of those Orange Pedal Baby power amps, and would love to box a preamp so I stop thinking about just re-buying a 6505MH.

Theres a mod to make it a little less bright by connecting a cap between the legs of the transistor. I have a 1nf under mine and still run the low cut about 9oclock. I run about 3pm gain on my duocast, but the volume around 8-9oclock. Sounds great to me though...
