    I don’t know why they claim 100K output impedance (not something to boast about, that’s way too high), but this resistor does not determine the output impedance. It is determined by the parallel with the output impedance of the last buffer stage which, being very low, dominates the output impedance.

    Mine was ticking too with 72s, but it went away with 62s. Worth a shot.

    What IC did you use for IC6? TL072 or TL062? The 72 causes ticking, the 62 does not.

    To @Bricksnbeatles point, your pot being upside down may create weird controls. And definitely won’t fit the drill template.

    I used 1N914 in my build and I think it sounds great. I think the hype and mojo are dominant here. I doubt you’ll hear significant differences with the “correct” diodes.
