At a loss now. No idea what happened with this whole process of things. I'll happily ship this off if someone wants to take a stab at it (I pay well!). Haven't had this much trouble before and had failed components. Got about 40 pedals under my belt and this has truly stumped me.

Scope with a ground reference doesn't give a signal on pin 4. When I remove the ground reference I get a signal that seems to bounce between 16khz and 20khz

Before it was around -7. Weird now it's locked at 102mV. Pin 1 is also at -14 where. Before it was -7.7. no idea what happened

Now pin 4 is showing 104mV. I'm so confused

So I got a oscilloscope. Between 1&4 was nothing. Pin 1 and 4 to ground each was around 92kHz

It's steady now at about 3.0mV

I did order an oscope so hopefully that comes today

Let me take a look. I think Q3 was on the fritz so maybe that messed some of the voltages up. I get a signal at pin 5. Pretty much a clean sound. 8 and 12 I don't get guitar signal just clock noise. It's like a little squeaking pulse clock sound.

it was going right to -14 without r29. I swapped it out and it is no longer doing that but now the wooshing is gone. unfortunately no oscope near me so might just have to shelve this one for another day

so q3 the emitter and base are giving me continuity with no power connected. q5 same type of npn does not do that. like the base of q3 is going straight -14 but the schematic does not show that

Well I can now hear some noise and light wooshing sound but no chorus

Frequency between Pin 4 and 8 just give me an OL no matter the rate

Following standard transistor layout 1 2 3 looking at the flat side left to right. these were measured from ground to the pin q9 being all zero is a little concerning

Got some IC DC pin voltages. DC supply was 12VDC IC1 - Tl072 1 3mV 2 3mV 3 0 4 -14.93V 5,6,7 0 8 14.93V IC2 - tl072 1 5.6mV 2 5.6mV 3 was spiking and falling, hard to get a read 4 -14.8V 5 0 6 3.5mV 7 around 50mV fluctuating 8 14.93 IC3 TDA1022 1 -7.7V 4 -7.24V 5 -4.28V 8 -9.2V...

I'll measure ic pin voltages tonight. Is there anything else I should measure?

Okay so I got the new DC converter and not having luck. tried at 9 and 12 v and played with the bias on both. nothing. clock and some noise show up with the audio probe but I'm definitely stuck. Thoughts?? @jwin615 @Scruffie
