    Fade On LED Gimmick

A large cap could cause pops due to inrush current. In addition to looking cool as it fades in/out, this has the advantage of gradually increasing the current to the LED, so no pops. You could even adjust the values so the fade isn't visible, but still slow enough to reduce popping.

    What's on the workbench?

It's similar to the Boss Slow Gear, it makes notes fade in gradually. You have a lot more control over the behavior, and it looks like it uses an OTA instead of a finicky JFET, so I'm interested to see what's going on. Unless there's a bunch of components on the opposite side of the control...

    Jlcpcb and tariffs

I got a refund from DHL last week. I never inquired nor asked for one, and they didn't specify what it was far, but there's not much else it could have been... It wasn't even remotely what I've paid in tariffs since the beginning of all of this, but maybe it's the portion they considered to be...

    Missing Build Docs / Schematics

I had a couple similar complaints over the years, one from a person who had an original. At the time I could only verify that the circuit "worked", I couldn't verify that it worked right... and being a Lo-Fi effect, it can be difficult to judge. I have an original now but haven't gotten around...

    SOLVED Taqueria Strange Bias Issue

Verify / inspect R5 and the Drive pot (and the connections between them). The trimpot can't drop voltage if the transistor isn't pulling any current. It could be the transistor itself, but start by checking it's ground path / biasing. If nothing turns up, put one of the known good...
