Iv used them in Compulators - A/B against a genuine Xvive and can’t hear any audable difference. Socket a see, and don’t get hung on measurements. Everywhere I read the Compulator has to have the vtl5c10. Iv tried it with different more commonly available vactrols and it works great.

I build a fair few of these. 5528’s do a great job ! Also a Green LED. There is also a 47k resistor that I swap out for a 150k but I am away at the moment so can’t check. The only other thing is have a few 074s on hand - Iv had a few click and swapping it out has stopped it.

If it’s anything like the xtool app it will be great. I import all my .psd files in, do a bit of jiggery pokery and I am good. I don’t use any of the AI or online stuff. I don’t see why it would be any different ? I have watched a few vids on the tube, and it looks very similar.
