Adventures in UV Printing - Eufymake E1

I guess one last-minute concern is the app…

I'm not terribly interested in any AI, online, WiFi, etc. features. Am I beleaguered with a proprietary app that feeds my art to the clankers? I'd ideally just prefer offline everything once the desktop program is installed.

If it’s anything like the xtool app it will be great. I import all my .psd files in, do a bit of jiggery pokery and I am good. I don’t use any of the AI or online stuff.

I don’t see why it would be any different ? I have watched a few vids on the tube, and it looks very similar.

I've never tried running it offline as my printer lives in a different room than my computer, but I expect it would work? I run mine wirelessly because my computer is in a different room than the printer. I don't mess with any of their AI or even non-AI artwork tools, I create everything in CorelDraw and import it over. My art isn't cool enough to be worth AI scraping it, so I'm not super concerned about my files going through their server on the way to the printer or whatever. But I also don't use their cloud storage, I prefer to keep all my files stored locally.

I should also add that compared to AcroRIP, the industry standard UV print software for the last 50 years or so (based on the interface), Eufy's software is incredible. Honestly just the fact that the software looks like it was written within the last decade was a huge selling point. AcroRIP is bad. Incredibly bad. You can configure your print settings and basically nothing else. You want to print? You can print. You want features? No features, only print.
