The led is fine that way. It wouldn’t affect the circuit output anyway.
The easiest way to troubleshoot will be to get an audio probe and work through the audio path to see where you lose volume.

Theoretically, if your faceplates are full length, you could have enclosures drilled for 4 AND 6 knob layouts and let the faceplate hide everything!
Lovely pedal this! I was tempted to do a single channel version and glad I didn’t. Lots of range on it, and definitely enough gain on tap. Almost tempted to set boost at half and leave it there.

Its been mentioned a few times already, and I'll mention it again. An audio probe is the next step. Trace the schematic from jack in to jack out and find where the audio stops going forward. Then you've found the problem.
Great build. You can add a 4k7 resistor between the 2nd leg of the pot and the board if you want to stop the LFO bottoming out when the rate is at maximum. This is fixed in the latest version.
Nice. I have a layout from the original schematic and it's okay for my purposes. 17 year old me would have loved it.
I found the original to have too much bass and presence (though I'm a mids guy). I do find Engl type high gain fatiguing though. The Depth knob worked pretty well for cutting out...
My main weapon of choice is a 5F2 Princeton. It's a Champ with a tone control. Personally, I think the Champ is one of the GOAT amps. It gets great sounds and takes pedals well. Maybe not what you want if there's chugging involved.
The Timmy is a great stacker for me. Put it with a great amp or a similar OD and boost and it is perfect for stacking without adding to the colour of things.

Though people can suck a BoD for an offset toggle switch. I don't know how you can mix 4 and 6 knob standards like that. Dirty.
