TC1 and the like do pretty well down to 40-50ish pf. I just grab another value around 100pf and parallel them. Close enough.

Will it self oscilate or does it only do so when playing? If it self oscilates, will it do so when the input is shorted to ground. Maybe try moving the wires some more, including the LED as it's butting against the led wires., since this started when they went in. Maybe there's crosstalk getting...
