    So this is the input board XLR to transformer - mono Jack to IC201 to get to mic level … Then the relay is to switch between them - what’s the stuff on the right hand side for? Power to the relay? The +0v and -0v is something I’ve not seen before!

    Haufe make one of the transformer options for the Bo Hansen Di and silent arts sell them on for €40 plus shipping (plus VAT) - I imagine this will be similar costs … plus whatever tarriffs we are going to see in the next few days…

    I worked out KiCad ok, the libraries are annoying. My suggestion is budget for a few orders from your fave cheap pcb supplier and expect to make mistakes on the first few… Some of mine were… Holes too small to let me desolder and change parts if I made a mistake Realising why everyone uses...

    Do you prefer lead or lead-free solder?

    I just bought some lead free. So far… It’s like going back to school and learning how to weld and the welder is on the wrong setting … there’s a learning curve. Hate it. But, not having to scrub everything down quite so much after using it. Love it

    Still got the cough, but no longer a zombie and able to work (from home) and walk the kids to school and nursery - so recovering. We’ve also had the first glimmers of spring weather so that’s been nice. Thanks for asking.
