Actually, 100p is barely noticeable, even cranked. I sort of liked 330p. But I play Volume high and Drive at 9 o'clock, so that's why. But I mean I just put a socket, it's not baked it. Can be changed to taste.

Hey Robert, surely the Rigel is not a complete clone of the Ceres. It's way smaller and only has one channel. I watched some YT vids some time ago, where people demoed the Rigel, and IIRC somebody said it's a clone of one of the Ceres channels, prolly the high gain channel.

I have to respectfully disagree. :D There's no audible propagation and no charge pump whine. I'm putting 470nFs by default around charge pumps for quite a while now and haven't had an issue since. After seeing what aion did I also found this post, which to my understanding says the same thing.

In my experience there's no problem with charge pumps when you put them like aion did in the Ember and the Straylight. Just add 470nF MLCC from the input and the output(s) to ground.

Can both sides of the LM13700 be used like in later revisions of the engineer's thumb for even better performance? And can one maybe even use one or even both buffers of it for any extra benefit? Thanks for sharing this btw, I heard about the Black Finger a couple of times now, going to try it...

The source is normally pointing down and the drain is pointing up in a schematic. And when the gate arrow is pointing towards another leg and not in the middle, like in the pic above, it's always pointing to the source.

Check that R102 is 10k, should be brown, black, black, red, brown like the resistors beside it. I see gold in the pic, but it might just be appearing that way in the picture. Also check that the DC socket isn't wired backward. It looks like the black ground cable is wired to the upper lug and...

Use the flash when taking pics. That usually brings out the color codes pretty well.

Pictures aren't that great, it's hard to confirm the color codes of the resistors. I suggest to check the voltages of the Opamps and post them here.

ROG Thor is also fantastic. I think PedalPCB has a PCB for it. I built it on a PCB from TH Customs. It has some mods, like Baxendall tone stack.
