    Narcissus Dip Switch function

This is taken from Digitech website: "INTERNAL DIP SWITCHES The Looking Glass’ Input Filter control is passive and interacts nicely with your guitar’s electronics when not using a buffer in front of it. However, when using buffered pedals before the Looking Glass you may want to adjust the two...

    cd4069ube symbol?

You have to invoke the power pins. Just right-click the part and select invoke

    cd4069ube symbol?

I have version 3 from 2017 and there'as the CD4069 in the '40xx-2' file That's the one I have in my library

    cd4069ube symbol?

Just a heads up. OP has asked for the CD4069, and you have shared the CD4049. Pinout and packaging differ

Fun with CMOS - part 2 - The Muff #49

That does make sense. I bought a bunch of 4049s when I built my Electric Mistress (early 2015, I once had the good habit of documenting my builds)

Fun with CMOS - part 2 - The Muff #49

I have bought them at least 10 years ago, I reckon

Fun with CMOS - part 2 - The Muff #49

It's an STMicroelectronics one (in theory at least, might be rebranded). It's quieter than I was expecting I really like the tone network. This will probably replace the Big Muff I have boxed right now edit: part number is HCF4049UBE

Fun with CMOS - part 2 - The Muff #49

Still a long way to go before I'm capable of building beautiful looking boards, but it works! And it sounds VERY good, Chuck! As usual. Tone stack sounds fuller in the mids (and that's what the tone stack calculator tells me as well). PS: Belated happy birthday!

    Taco Bolt :)

My guess is they don't make trimpots in the same footprint as the original version anymore

Collateral FX Foxey Face (fuzz face content)

    Lindo isso! Nicely done!

An Idea for a Universal Input Buffer/Booster (onboard)

Nice work! Thanks for sharing it! Impedance is one of the many concepts in this hobby that give me a bit of a headache, and I was confused to see a 145k input impedance option. Isn't that a little lower than we'd expect on a buffer?

    JFET Shootout

Ok, I see what you mean. I'm not sure I'll do it, but if I do, I'll report back here

    JFET Shootout

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by that. Shouldn't the voltage DMM be parallel to the diode?

    JFET Shootout

Should an arrangement like this (with the diode in place of the resistor, of course) work for tracing the curve? I'm not sure if it'd be precise enough, though, with my multimeters

I can measure them, but I don't know the test conditions on my multimeter. I can measure some of my MPF102 as well so you can compare to your measurements

    JFET Shootout

Now you have me curious, is it necessary to select for Vp/Idss when using jfets as clippers?

    JFET Shootout

Found the e-mail. I bought them at a brazilian store called Compomil (not sure if they do exports, customs clearance can be tricky here in Brazil), back in 2014. They were ~$0.25 back then.

    JFET Shootout

Sadly... I originally bought 40 of them in hopes of finding matching sets for some phasers. I've been using them as buffers ever since
