From my experience as doing live sound and also mixing recordings, it just sounds like the kind of thing someone thinks they want, and later on with more experience understand they were mistaken and it is not a good idea. In my opinion, it's reasonable to try and help someone if that is the case...

To add to the other comments: For electrolytic caps (and maybe some other caps too, but less commonly - I think mylar caps might be one, they're usually an "alternative" for film box) you need to keep the voltage rating in mind too. Your best bet is getting 25V or 35V (or even 50V) rated...

That's a good point - for a reverb that goes into overdrive or distortion (or even fuzz), you don't need to be so hifi.

I find that a small amount of room reverb where you don't think it actually has any reverb, but notice if it's gone, is great. But I'm not sure if I would bother doing that if I wasn't using a multi-effects pedal.

FWIW this order finally shipped today, a month after ordering. But to be fair, that was caused by the single (chromium) enclosure failing like three times and having to be redone, so it entered another wait cycle too (I assume due to batching of the enclosures).

To me it looks like the KD503A would be very close to the 2D503B, based on the graph. It's easier to see them if you click to disable a lot of the ones further away (so the beginning and end of the list). KD503A seems to be available in Europe at least, from a bulgarian webstore and a 100pcs lot...

Has anyone considered emailing Warm Audio to see if they know how to fix it? I wouldn't expect much necessarily because this is sort of competition for them, indirectly, if you squint a little, but it's worth a shot.

FWIW, it's now been two weeks since my order of 13 enclosures (10 drilled and printed), and they would probably be ready today, except one (which was printed before the others) failed the QC, and now it seems an another one of the last batch has failed QC too. So possibly two weeks for an order...

I did order a 4PDT switch to toggle between the two, I've got the Effects Layouts version so only four cap changes are needed (which the one 4PDT should be enough).
