    Wow, you guys anre absolutely right! I went ahead and just reflowed everything and sure enough- it’s biasing now! This is a huge lesson for me, so thank you guys so much!

    Great idea! I went through and reflowed all the joints around it and the trimmer. No luck. Just to be more accurate, turning the trimmer takes from 9.26V to 9.31V in a full rotation. Also, just for my own education, is a continuity check between connections a reasonable substitute for reflowing?
