I’ve tried a few different configurations and am still getting the whine. I’m going to check the components when i get home from work. If the problem persists once i re-solder the ICs/sockets i’ll probably use an audio probe to see where it comes in to play. I’ve used the GPCB breakout boards...

Yup, the pedal itself functions quite well (aside from the noise issue).

LT1054 but even when i took it out the pedal still made the noise.

I can also get it if i dime the vol and gain on my pre-amp pedal, it just kicks in faster with the HM-2 (and other high gain distortions, I tried a few). I desoldered all 3 ICs and sockets and am going to try all of those again.

Update here. I removed the charge pump and still got the whining noise. Going through to check joints, especially on ICs.

Just did that and it hasn't seemed to help. Interestingly enough the whine only happens when I connect my from the side chain out to the gate input. When I pass signal directly through the side chain into my amp (not through the actual gate) there is no noise.

I had time to get back to my Sanguine Distortion project and am continuing to have issues. Currently the volume coming out of the pedal is negligible when the circuit is engaged (perfectly fine in bypass). I have gone point to point across the entire board and cannot find any continuity errors...

I believe I have followed the assembly instructions well and the pedal works just fine, however the indicator LED will not come on. I have tried multiple LEDs and multiple CLRs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
