It's been quite awhile since I did it. If I remember correctly it did but I kind of put it on the shelf to do other stuff. It's a good sounding pedal and I can deal with the volume drop but if it can be fixed, that would be good.

I know this is an old thread but I also notice a volume drop when switching on the reverb. It's only with the reverb. I have gone back through and don't see anything obvious. Anybody else experience this? I built this pedal awhile back and it's just been sitting. I decided to put it on my board...

Solved. LEDs were backward. 1st time for everything, I guess.

I finished building my Deofol and it doesn’t work. The LEDs don’t even come on. I get bypass signal but that’s it. I have power to the LEDs, the IC, and all of the 2n5457s have power.

Thanks. I sent a message to pedalpcb to see which one he used. I think it needs to be bumped a bit as the gain is not quite the same as the old one.

Since we don't have build docs yet for the V2, does anybody know which resistor is taking place of the trim pot?

Here are a couple pics of the last 2 that I finished. I combined my complex with my aurum. I like combination pedals that work independently. Up next is the booster/limiter, cheese fuzz, and the V2 Valhalla.

I'll se what I can do on the photos. I think I like the V1 better than the V2. For some reason the V1 just sounds better to my ears. I've been working on several pedals, so I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Just got done with Dirty Sanchez v2 and it sounds great! Virtually no noise even at highest gain setting. Big thumbs up on this one.

Nice looking build! I'm about to build mine up. I have the Friedman Smallbox pedal and will A/B them. If the Complex is pretty close, the Friedman will be gone. I A/B'd my Dirty Sanchez with the Smallbox and they are really close.

I did the red/blue led for my channels. I also used red knobs for channel A and blue knobs for channel B. That way I can keep up with which channel I'm on. Works great.

It calls for a 12n cap to go in C21. Will it make any difference if I put a 10n in that spot?

What about the build docs for this one? Mine will be here tomorrow.

The easiest thing to do is put a Boss pedal in front of it. You don't have to turn it on, just have it there. I built a switcher with a buffer built in and it works great. I tried the buffer that Music6000 is suggesting and it works perfect, so that's another way to go also. Don't give up on it...

I put the plumes in front to bump the gain and it does that nicely.
