Slider EQ build (with UV and drill template)

This EQ is awesome ! Really recommending it for the send and return. Will upload my Tayda print file later, for everyone, who wants to use it. EDIT: Uploaded a UV-Template. If u want to use color, then you have to make an extra color layer. It's just gloss and white with Roland swatches...

Slider EQ build (with UV and drill template)

Hey guys, got my slider eq ready today. The drill template I found in the forum was excellent. I just had to take the LED to another place because of my font. The build was easy, but the fitting for the jacks and dc is a bit tighter then usual. Curious how it will sound. Probe test worked...

    Tommy III crackle sound

Thanks for all your help guys. Found the mistake. After checking every part and solder joint again, there was only one part which took my interest. The IC. Normally I heard broken IC's in another spectrum, like squealing noises etc. Changed the IC and now everything work. Had to wait for some...

all pots have dust seals … I measure all ground spots with my multimeter and all looks good measurewise. Strange. What I wonder is, that I could record for 3 hours without any problems.

    Tommy III build

Hey guys, couldn’t resist. After reading in many posts that the Tommy is a really good pedal, I thought, that I give it a try. Postman ring today with the pcb, my tayda order also already arrived. So start the build ! Nothing fancy, took a flat top LED like I do in most of my builds. It’s also...

    PPCB Ocelot Octave

Could check it next, when I find time in my room to track. I'm not so happy with the results. On snare it's kinda cool, but on the kick I don't like it. :D

    PPCB Ocelot Octave

@Feral Feline Made a quick demo with the Ocelot on my kick and snare. First you just hear the direct sound and then I push the octave 1 and then octave 2. For the bass drum I used a boundary mic and for the snare just a SM57. Snare top is always tracked with EQ and Compressor. No there fancy...

    PPCB Ocelot Octave

I play drums … so I just use the pedals for recording guitar, when someone hit up my little recoding studio. Today I just reamped a guitar DI in my 6505. But I used a reactive loadbox and IRs. So not tested it with a real cab and mics.

    PPCB Ocelot Octave

Maybe @Robert could chime in, because I've really no idea why Boss used GE diodes in there original build. But maybe they used it to get a softer clipping of the octaves and I think it was more common in the 80s.

Thank you so much ! Let me guess ... you told yourself to stop building pedals ?

    PPCB Ocelot Octave

I told myself not to built too many guitar pedals, cause I'm not a guitar player, but I couldn't resist. This is my Pedal PCB Ocelot Octave, cause last time I had a metal production and I thought it would sound much more aggressive to put a octaver in front of the amp. But I had none ... so...
