Leprechaun has clean sound no matter what.

I’ll try scrubbing and maybe heating the pads again. I got this one from small bear. Kind of bummed to hear there’s been some bad ones lately. Oh well. I’ll keep trying though! Not ready to give up quite yet.

I get sound to pin one, no sound out of pin 28. The picture I posted looks like I toasted the IC but it was just dirty with flux

Leprechaun has clean sound no matter what.

Spent a fair amount of time on this board and the only thing I can come up with is that the FV-1 doesn't work. Voltage regulator is working and I have 3.3v at all the correct locations. All grounded locations are correct. I've traced nearly every point on this board using this schematic I found...

Leprechaun has clean sound no matter what.

Hey all, just working on a Leprechaun build and when I’m plugged in and powered I get a clean signal no matter what state either switches are in. The knobs appear to do nothing as well. Just a clean tone all around. Both LEDs work. Anyone seen this before? I’m randomly re-soldering pads and...

    SOLVED Leprechaun signal issues

I know this thread is marked solved, but I’m having the exact same issue. What pads did you end up resoldering?

    Sorcerer Distortion very quiet

Thanks for the tip. I just ordered a CV7351 off ebay (didn't even think to look there when I ordered parts) so hopefully in a few weeks I can jam out on this thing!

    Sorcerer Distortion very quiet

Just finished building the Sorcerer Distortion. Plugged it in, turned it on and got some sound. But it's really, really quiet. With the knobs turned all the way up its still average relatively low volume. Sounds terrible. So I did substitute some parts during the build. Instead of using a...

best jacks and dc power inputs

Oh man, this is exactly the info I needed. I’ve been using cheap jacks from Tayda, but I found a switch craft Jack in my workbench and noticed they are slightly smaller. But those Lumbergs look like the way to go for sure! And I didn’t even know about the external nut dc jacks. I’ll have to grab...

best jacks and dc power inputs

I'm currently working on a Leprechaun build and after drilling out the enclosure using PedalPCB's drill template, I found that there is no way my jacks, dc input, and pots are all going to fit. I'm 99% sure I drilled the holes correctly, so I checked the forum and tried to find some gut shots of...
