    Fv1truvian Octagon

Build: This one started life as an FV-1 Octagon board The pcb's layout didn't suit my enclosure for this build, so I "off-boarded" a lot of components I intended to modify. I also wanted to include a Sound2Light circuit to drive a light plate in the enclosure. Here's a quick demo of the...

    SOLVED Troubleshooting an Arachnid

The Audio probe I made, along with a few other similar posts in this forum, were very usefull in tracing the cause of my problem. I traced the signal and realized it was not outputting from the fv-1 (pin 28). I then tried jumping pin 13 to ground to enable the fv-1's onboard effects and verified...

    SOLVED Troubleshooting an Arachnid

Hi All, I've built a few pedals from here, all successfull. So far I've always been able to troubleshoot faults in my builds quickly. Build #5 seems to be beyond the ability of my usual truobleshooting equip/techniques. This build is an Arachnid board, which worked fine during testing...

    Red Fasel inductor orientation ?

I'm upgrading my wah with the TearJerker Wah pcb and a red Fasel inductor. There are a few different hole patterns in the pcb to accommodate for various inductor manufacturers, in this, I noticed the Fasel can fit in facing up or down on the circuit. I'm pretty sure this won't make a difference...

    Fv1rtuoso Architect - FV-1 Dev pedal

Thanks ! this one doesn't stay permanently in my signal chain, I use this pedal as a means to program rom chips while having it patched to an amp and instrument, giving me the ability to hear and tweak the effects before mounting this chip into a more permanent home, like other FV-1 multi-fx...

    Fv1rtuoso Architect - FV-1 Dev pedal

The Build: Bought myself the FV-1 dev board a few months ago and decided to relocate the EEPROM outside the enclosure for easier access. I did damage the pcb a bit removing components for this mod but repaired it. [link to more build pics]. Naming it: ofc every cool build needs a name to...
