    What's on the workbench?

Dammit, I can't believe I made the ultimate mistake. Well at least I can't accuse anyone else of being a goof.

    Poison Apple: "Snow Bunting Autowah"

That looks stellar. I like the fonts. They're bold without taking up too much attention. Your builds never fail to impress and this is no exception. That said I was never a fan of the Snow White and although I built it up twice it just never did it. My fave is the Aion version of the...

    MXR Phase 90 (Sheepy Love)

And the nice part is that your non-labeling ethos works like a champ here.

    MXR Phase 90 (Sheepy Love)

That looks awesome. You've totally blown up a myth though: I thought the tolerances in these tiny little buggers was supposed to be tight. So I get a bad case of the squints for nothin'?

    SSM2166 Compressor (with mods)

    What's on the workbench?

Ironically now that I'm using a Helix (which is a whole nuther can of worms) I love the Tube Screamer model. Mostly because it doesn't really sound like a Tube Screamer...

    Low Tide - Resurrected

That etch is sick, I love it. Did you backfill with black or is that the laser scorching the paint?

Damaged pad. Help finding another ground connection

Hey Chico, sounds like a cheezy plug for the site, but Robert has the cool solder sucker that works like a champ too. Not that I've ever, ahem, needed to unsolder parts or remove solder blobs or anything. Ahem.

What are the most rugged 1/4" jacks people are using?

I have a BLMS T-shirt that's just stupid good quality. Any of their jacks are as well.

    Dual Pedal Master footswitch wiring

Check all your part values. It could always be a transistor out of spec but SMDs I’ve found to be far more consistent than thru holes. Maybe a heat damaged trim pot? Last ditch after all the above would be to swap out the transistor itself.

Anyone have any new neck opinions?

I don’t want to reinvent the wheel as the original neck did me quite well. I just need direction to replace the old beast. But the prices seem to vary from $200 to $500.

    What's on the workbench?

I like this as the programming was easy once I figured it out but have changed computers since then. I have no idea where I left off and would like to get back into this without reinventing...
