There will be a trace in order for the the 7660SCPAZ to work correctly! It's the only one I use & have recommended others that have had issues with the TC1044S with the same issue you had here. The only advantage the LT1054 is it can handle up to 15v input & double to around 28v + -.

Bypass is: 1 4 7 2 5 8 A - Input Jack B - PCB IN C - Ground D - SW E - PCB OUT F - Output Jack

You should see a trace either top or bottom of the pcb going straight from Pin 1 to Pin 8 or with the power unplugged & IC removed, test for Continuity.

1. Are Pin 1 & 8 connected on the PCB?, that is where their may be an issue & why the 7660S is OK??? 2. Where did you get the LT1054CP's from?

My last order included 10 CIC ROHS 3PDT Blue footswitches that I have been using for years but this lot had dodgy threads & you couldn't tighten the nut without it jumping threads which reported here on the Forum. I contacted them & they new about the Issue & sent 10 more that were a newer...

I believe it's R8- 39K on the Sproing, 10K on the Deluxe! The lower you go, The more spacial it gets! I settled on 25K on my Sproing & it sounds Great! You could use a Trimit PCB with a 50k Trimmer & you can set where you want

I only just spotted this thread today & I'm on here everyday. This is not my area that I have a lot of knowledge in so I can't be of much help, also the fact that it is SMD. Hopefully someone will chime in & give you some guidance.

Salvage a piece of plastic from a lid of Icecream or yoghurt & slide that under the pot. Insulation tape has failed many times on the Forum!
