    Simulcast

That's pretty swell! I did see the outline of the tape and was hoping it was something that could be applied to a whole sheet. I guess not in this case. Still, it looks really cool. You don't often see white lettering on a colored background.

    Soldering watts?

From what I understand, wattage isn't about temperature. An iron with a higher wattage will heat up quicker and maintain a more stable temperature; the temp won't drop as much if you're heating a big joint. But like others are saying, if you can find one get one where you can control the...

    Mini Heterodyne Receiver

Nice looking pedal! I drag soldered mine using a hoof tip and it worked well. I'll have to put up some pics too. One question: Do you get a ticking sound when you turn up the Oscillator knob (I think that's what it's called; top right knob)? Mine ticks annoyingly when I'm not playing. When I do...

    Mini Heterodyne Receiver

To keep ICs from moving, I do the following:' 1) Apply a tiny bit of solder to Pad 1. You don't need a super-narrow tip for this. Just put a dab on the iron and touch it to the pad. 2)Add some extra flux on top of the cooled solder. 2) Line up the IC over the pads with Pin 1 on top of that dab...
