@Harry Klippton turned me onto the Gyraff projects, when then led me to the Hairball 1176. I think that the most difficult thing about the Gyraff project would be building the rack and faceplate. Offboard wiring would also be quite a chore, especially compared to the way that Hairball does it...

I use the LMS pre-bond. I bought 1000 feet of it a couple years ago and have used it for just about everything.

I cut post-it notes into strips and mark hfe and leakage on each one individually, and dump them into bins by type.

If you want to get rid of everything, powdercoat included, I'd suggest acetone. It's not particularly dangerous (other than being flammable) and is inexpensive and easily available.
