BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

yes, I tried different cables; my mogami 2524 with switchcraft connectors and my friend's A setup in his studio and his B setup in his house; the hum immediately stops when we plug any other pedals (pedalpcb or not) in the place of the Thermionic Deluxe; now the hum is constant, not only when...

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

I know nothing about shielded wires, which one would you recommend me? anyways I'll have to import it, it will took a couple of weeks since I can test it; until that I question myself: if the problem is the wire, why every other pedalpcb I built worked properly and coincidentally the 2...

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

I did it on both in and out jacks with a nail sanding thing; I really had hope in this, since the enclosure, knobs and circuit design are the only 3 things in common between both builds, but nothing changed; the noise still remains

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

A: My soldering iron is a cheap 30w without temperature display and I tried to make the soldering just long enough for it to work, afraid of frying anything; I'll try sanding it; just the in/out jacks or the power one too?

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

@owlexifry This is the second/current build, that I built with all the careful in the world, so no cold solders, no connections/solders (that shouldn't touch) touching, no fried components, etc

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

I'm using some different power supplies: - the main one I use to test my pedals is a single pedal Strymon power supply that came with my Strymon Timeline (great quality), it works great with every other pedal; - I used 3 different others that I just know that work well, including the main one...

BOTH of my Thermionic Deluxe have the same ground issue HELP

I built two Thermionic Deluxe: - the first one was from this post, and god, you guys have no ideia how much I struggled to find the problem, but still no success - since my friend paid the material so I could built a Thermionic Deluxe for him and the first one didn't worked, I bought new PCB +...

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

update: I redone all the in/out and power connections and re-soldered the mini pcb on the 3pdt; I didn't had shielded wires, but this time I at least used copper wire; still lots of hum. I went to my friend who is an electronics technician, he couldn't find the problem; we even went to his boss...

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

I remember the solder from one this points touched the other while I was working on that switch; but I heated it again until it separates; I will disassemble the thing and redo the connections in this switch 😢 at least now I have a solder sucker thing that I didn't when building this

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

the noise gets more intense when I interact with the wires connected to the tip of both in and out jacks; it gets a little quieter when I touch the pedal; likely a ground issue, but I have no ideia of how to fix it

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

I don't have shielded wire and I'm shipping this pedal on monday to my friend; may insulation tape on the connections help with it? And I put a Boss pedal in front of it and it's the same

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

My Thermionic Deluxe seems to work fine, has a cool sound, but induces a lot of noise on my signal even on my clean sound when it's turned off; and when it's on it's terrible; I tested with only this pedal in the chain (lots of noise) and with guitar straight to amp (zero noise) I didn't notice...

SOLVED Maleficent Mids - farting/no sound

oh, nice to to know that this exists! I used insulation tape, it was enough to conclude what was the problem, but the pedal is making a "bitcrushed" hum maybe 2 ou 3 layer of tape wasn't enough; maybe the pointy solders are tearing tiny scratches on the tape which current is passing through...
