The horizontal lines are always just a small drawback of uv printing in my experience. Any large areas will have them, even if it’s one of the pure pigment colors— Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, or White.

Could be useful for the carrier frequency on a ring mod— would be a lot easier to perfectly dial it in, since most ring mods I’ve used have a carrier frequency range over 3 octaves, and even a difference of 10¢ can make a huge impact on the resultant harmonies you wind up with

@Robert am I correct in seeing that the bias of each of three stages is switchable between two trimmers? I read that it’s only Q3 that’s misbiased on the taco thing, so this should definitely be more interesting for experimentation in that case!

The easiest place to start is checking for shorts— Set your multimeter for continuity and probe around all the different points in the circuit while one lead is clipped to the enclosure. If you get a beep, and it’s not a part that should be connected to ground, then it’s probably shorting...

I’ve been going with the assumption that the drill template would be equivalent to the Acetylene Overdrive minus the cut and treble pot holes, with the toggle switch hole enlarged of course to accommodate the rotary switch. @Robert can you confirm?

Still need to get my hands on the rotary switch and an enclosure. Planned on getting this one done before the pcb was officially released but my spring break wound up dominated by my projects from this semester. Gonna be attempting a linocut graphic for this one though so I can avoid the wait...

Oh wow this is fantastic! Just a few days ago I spent an hour or two converting the muffin factory drill template that was shared here into a uv print file, but this is much quicker!

I honestly don’t think it’s unfair pricing for what it is. size, fit & finish, and quantity all scale the price up on this. Try to find an unpainted mk1/zonk enclosure for under $40, and that’s from chinese mass-production sources produced in massive quantities. This is a more complicated form...
