Just keep in mind you're letting more bass through at the gain stage, meaning you get a very flubby low end on a pedal that is already known to fuzz/fart out at high gain settings. If you want more bass but keep the response, you'd have to add an EQ stage after clipping.

If it's a standalone dirt pedal to be used into a clean amp I agree. If it's something you run into a dirty or heavily distorted amp/signal chain and you just want a way to make an extreme sounding pedal less extreme or get back some dynamics/definition, it's not all that complicated. Which is...

The op amp muff has two bias points, both using rather large value resistors, one being offset even. What you could certainly do is make another Vref for just the input buffer and mixer op amp stages for example.

They are not interchangeable at all

Really depends on colour and if it's a clear or diffuse LED. 4k7 with clear blue or white LEDs is absolutely blinding (22-33k for those), but it's fine on clear red. Diffuse LEDs I like smaller values between 1k and 2k2.

Would you mind explaining what that filter is and does and how you want to include it in the simplified Gladio? Do you want to have it on your clean path, do you want to add it behind the clean path etc.

Pretty sure the footswitch daughterboard is the wrong way around. Try swapping around the input/output cables, if that does the trick you know what to switch around (the jacks).

I can't explain it if the Buffer is in fact between the guitar and the Glory Hole so please make sure the order is exactly that. Do you also encounter the issue if you swap the order around? The glory hole has high enough input impedance to not care too much about what's in front of it except...

I built the small drive-only version and it has a really cool and unique drive structure. Makes me curious about the big one but it likely wouldn't be used all that much...
