Also, be careful with the tayda thinline DC jacks. I’ve broken a few center pins on them. If I were you I would either opt for the real deal lumberg ones, or just drill the hole a little larger.

So I finally had a chance to test this guy out this morning, but I didn’t get any sound :( after opening it up I realized I put IC1 in the socket wrong. The two bottom legs were sticking out of the socket. After fixing that(I put a whole new 4558 in because the legs got bent) I got sound. But...

I built a tearjerker wah in a crybaby enclosure. I used the existing pot of the treadle. It currently works, but heel is treble and toe is bass. Is this simpy a matter of switching the wires of 1 and 3 on the pot?

You should try the jhs angry charlie clone next. I built the m800 and felt the same as you. I built the angry charlie and it was exactly what the m800 was missing.

I only played around with it for about 15 minutes. They are definitely digital, but good. Comparable to what you would get with a digital multifx unit. The width of the effect is huge.
