    Bulk buying components

I think I remember a project like that a few years back. I’m not sure where I saw it—hopefully someone remembers.

    Lectric-FX Flintlock

I didn't use a scope for mine. I did measure the clock frequency limits though.

SOLVED tayda UV printing issues lately

Yeah, it’s been hit or miss for me too. I think the ‘print white twice’ was more understandable when the service was starting out and things were being established, but at this point it’s basically putting a failure of their service onto the consumer.

    Help identifying this schematic symbol/part?

In all fairness, this has AC power input and not something you’d come across in the typical kinds of projects we work on.

    Help identifying this schematic symbol/part?

Those are ferrite beads. They’re labeled as inductors (the ‘L’ designator), but are a bit different. The specs there state the equivalent resistance at a given frequency. Here they are mitigating EMI (like you’d see with the blocky cylindrical part of a power brick cord). I’m not sure if those...

Has anyone ever had this happen with Si transistors?

What does CC1 mean in this schematic?

Yep, that seems right. You’d install cap(s) with one leg on the switch and the other to ground and wire the switch common to that pad.

    MPF102 Substitution

I would think a J201 would be a better choice for a source follower biased to Vref given that the Vgs(off) for the J201 is 0.3–1.5V and the 2n5457 is 0.5–6.0V. A 2n5457 on the upper extreme of the spec could clip, right?

What does CC1 mean in this schematic?

This seems to differ from other electric mistress schematics I’ve seen. That node is connected to the clock input of the CD4013. It may just be a test point for the VCO trim. Not entirely sure why that’s being brought out with the other supply pins. Do you have any other documentation? Is there...

What does CC1 mean in this schematic?

Right—the main purpose of the net designation is to make the schematic less cluttered. The board will have to have physical connections.

    Rat Circuit Recommendation?

There are two parallel RC networks forming a HPF with the ground connection of the feedback loop. The 47R / 2u2 network creates a 1.5kHz pole. You could modify that (similar the the Ruetz mod on the other pole), but you’ll affect the gain as well. There’s a LPF with the feedback cap and the GAIN...
