    Low volume on Mofeta build.

My initial mofeta I had fake/way out o spec FETS that I could not get to bias properly (low enough/high enough I don't remember at the moment) but they did still work to some extent without any lack of volume. To start bias by ear I believe you will want to 1 at a time bias the normal channel...

    Low volume on Mofeta build.

I don't see anything immediately off, but I can't read all your component values. Are your 5457s legit? Are all the transistors set in their sockets well? Are your pots all the correct values? Maybe try reflowing your joints if you haven't. And then check your component values to be sure you...

Anyone know where to find this part?

That's fair. I guess as long as the pressure is minimal then it's a step above the ground spring. Anything that pushes or pressures boards inside the enclosure seems like it would be undesirable in the long run though. But I have never seen a production pedal fail due to either of these options...

Anyone know where to find this part?

That seems one step below the behringer spring against the bottom plate. It just doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence for me personally.

    LED polarity

Do you use the battery snap in your builds? If not then you can connect them both and it doesn't matter. I'm not a battery fan though.

Combo Pedals - Do I just chain the output to the input of the second one?

The wiki may have some answers for you but maybe you've seen that already. https://wiki.pedalpcb.com/wiki/3PDT_Order_Switch_Wiring

    "Stingless" Sugarbag (Fat Bee) Drive

Clean... Clean... Clean. I appreciate boring build reports so keep them coming. And I have to say... This is the sign of someone doing things rright. The answers to your questions are likely out there with just a bit of using the search function. There is no substitute for digging in and...

Blooms, not blumes. A Plumes / Greengage build for spring

Looks great! And i agree with your summation of the plumes. Different enough to justify and maybe even interest people NOT interested in a mid-foeward drive. I also just did the exact same thing drilling my hydra enclosure. The white washer is making a comeback I hear...

DEMO Sheepy love/GOTA Boss HM-3 Hyper Metal

That's a gnarly sound. Also I love the GOTA in the Sega font at the beginning of the video. You both crushed this one. This started the day off right.

    Drebbel Pre/eq

Impossible to get a bad sound, eh? Challenge accepted. I appreciate the extra info. Interesting tone control. And an active mids control. Color me interested.

    Drebbel Pre/eq

Submarine art has me cheesin'. I'd step on that. Been looking for a simple bass preamp and this one has me curious. Is the Body pot for mids? Did you do anything special to select the FETs or just snag two and run with them? I noticed the build doc has the specs of them measured. also... my...

    DEMO Kewpie Fuzz

I love the enclosure wrap. Very whimsical and I love that it's gonna get cooler with age and grit and grime. I did this once and mine looked terrible so I haven't revisited. But this inspires me to try again. Very excited to get to building this circuit too. Muffs are the way.

    Modus Operandi

You can fill the stamp with dark paint and wipe the excess to make them a bit easier to read. I like metal stamps for the minimalist look.

    Free No-Name Electrolytic Caps- Garbage?

Just measure them first. I'm far less worried about them failing than them just having wide tolerances.

    Capacitor Sourcing in 2024

I source everything possible from tayda and have not had issues. I do avoid their cheapest options and use the ones with tighter tolerances when possible. Only when values are unavailable do I look elsewhere, and even then I will likely substitute if at all possible. I use MLCC pretty freely...

SOLVED Switch popping and noise galore with Bootleg and Glory Hole

Been reading this thread regretting offering to do a combo build for a friend. And now I will go and make sure my tayda order is for quality caps across the board. Good thread to learn on.

    4uzz - 4 classic fuzzes, 1 box

I love this idea. Killer enclosure and it sounds wicked too. But... I really want to see the insides...

[Ludicrous Speed OD] First attempt at a DIY pedal, not even turning on

I wrapped a bit of painters tape around all the places it screwed together on the cheap one I had and it almost doubled the suction.

Why doesn’t everyone use 9mm pots?!?

I could argue those are optional and then they take less space... I won't... But I could. Likely any pcb meant to fit in a 125B wouldn't really save much space switching to 9mm and, as was mentioned prior, the standard of dictates unless necessity necessitates. VFE uses a mix I believe? Or did?

    Why Fjord, Why?

I have no issues with 2 stomps in a 125B. but those knobs seem like an issue... unless the person who buys this is hooking it up to their switcher.... but even then it completely neuters the 2nd stomp anyways.
