FreakZEQ - works, but output is low compared to regular SOK

I build 3 of these and they all have the same issue ( I guess its an issue). Unity gain is about 3 o'clock on the volume dial. I build a "Dizzy" SOK replica and it had a ton of gain...these have barely a boost over unity. Is it possibly a component error on the build doc? Thanks....I'll...

    125B PedalPCB - Trumpeter [125B]

Hi, Please upload a Tayda Drill template for the Trumpeter. I built several of these and screwed up the drilling more than once. I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

    Duellist

Its a nice pedal, I sold it to my friend and he really likes it. @PedalPCB mentioned putting out a pcb with both, so I was holding out to make another one for myself.

Anyone contemplating using J201s for xc phaser?

I was getting through hole 2n5457 from mouser, but they're out....Tayda out too.

Bumping this for some help please!

Squalling and Sad Fuschia (Pink Purple) Fuzz with the Nature knob

Hey, I just built a PP Fuzz with the treble and bass that sounds great. I also built this one with the nature knob. It makes a really weird feedback noise by rotating the nature knob with higher fuzz settings. The sound goes away when you roll the fuzz back. This doesn't happen with the...

I think my Pro-10 Green and Noblemen are both possessed

It's my Ojai. The main strymon Zuma is not possessed! It also does this with my aion odr and a phase 90 clone too. Strymon is aware, but silent about the issue.

I think my Pro-10 Green and Noblemen are both possessed

Its a Strymon Zuma powering the Ojai extension to the pedals

I think my Pro-10 Green and Noblemen are both possessed

So, I've built a couple of the Aion Andromeda's before and one of those also had this possessed sound. I just finished a Nobleman and a Pro-10 Green - and they both have this possessed power supply sound. However, whenever I kick on another pedal (Tweedman in this case), the noise stops.

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

I made sure all pots are grounded well and touching the enclosure, but it still has the same noise and microphonics that they other I built does. Here is a short video:

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

Thanks Chuck! I did see a little "tit" sticking up and potentially touching the dual gang pot. I plugged it back in, I can't remember if this happened before, but with the pedal back in the enclosure, when I touch the dual gang pot's shaft, I get a buzzy sound...The big electrolytic is not...

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

The PS is a Strymon Zuma with an OJai extension. The other pedals seem fine with it. It was in the enclosure. Thanks

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

I tried to fix these again, but no luck. Does anyone else have background noise with the Benson?

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

Actually, everything seems microphonic - resistors, caps, etc.

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

After fooling with it a bit more and reflowing some solder, the 100nF input cap and some others also seem microphonic. You can lightly flick them and here a thump thru the amp

    Benson Preamp - Microphonic J201's?

Hi, I just built my second Benson Preamp and it has the same problem as the first. It has a noisy background (just high noise floor - nothing crazy). When I touch the Q2 J201 (which is a SMT mounted one from PedalPCB), you can clearly hear my touching it like a microphonic preamp tube. Any...
