This Week on the Breadboard: a BBD Reverb

I very like the idea building a pure analogue Reverb Pedal. The Last Gasp Arts Transroom uses two MN3011's for example. I don't know if that would do the trick. Unfortunately the chip is very hard to get and expensive to try :(

    Bass Klon

I'm very happy to sell my Bass Soul Food pedal now. This Bass Klon will be so much better for sure!

PCB's for Chorus? with chips that are easy to find?

A symbiosis between the Haarp and the Leprechaun: A Rainoid! Will you bring out a pcb for this? A BB chassis would also provide enough space for two more pots/switches, so we can use all of the FV-1 potentials. I love the idea

    Haarp rate mod

You are probably right. I haven't built the Haarp yet, but I experienced a slightly change in pitch with the Organ Donor, when I used the FV-1 Module. Not every note became dissonant, it depended strongly in which scale I was, so I had to tune the clock dependent on that. But it can be fun also...

    Haarp rate mod

I would recommend giving the FV-1 Clock Module a shot. It is cheap and easily to build and you can simply experiment with its trimpot. If you like the result or not both is okay, because you can easily turn the clock to default, so you don't have to unsolder the module again.

    Pedal Mod for Bass?

The Glorious BasstarLooks and sounds interesting and seems to be very versatile. I recently built the Darkglass Microtubes Vintage Bass Overdrive, whitch I can highly recommend for less extreme overdrive tones.

    Pedal Mod for Bass?

The EHX Bass Soul Food is a Bass version of the Klon Centaur as far as I know. I have it and it has not the Low End needed for serious bass use, although it has a Blend knob for the clean signal. JHS came up with some mods for the Bass Soul Food in the past to fix that, but it is not easy to...

    any dark rift delay mods?

I would recommend building the Sea Horse with the mods from Chuck and you have a improved Dark Rift pedal. https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/sea-horse-mods.5162/

    Delegate boneyard: any LED preference?

I took a standard 5mm white LED, which was too bright, what caused distortions in the sound mainly in shorter attack times. I tried other LEDs, but they were not bright enough any more, so I ended up with the solution grinding the white LED a little bit with fine sandpaper, so that the light of...

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

Only Chuck can tell why he changed the values of the input buffer. I don't want to risk soldering too much on the board, so that is why I want to know

SOLVED Sea Horse worked then didn't

And if these tips don't help try to make an audioprobe along the audiopath starting with the footswitch and the cables and then from R1 until the end

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

I'm not sure if we are talking already about nuances of the sound most people probably don't concern, but I will make an audioprobe to exclude other issues! Thanks for taking your time and I will promise to stop bothering you after this very last question: What does the Mod 2a do with the input...

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

The Ratio knob is not very effective anymore after I did the major mod. Also the Tone pot brings not the highs back like it did before. The sound is more mid and low colored now. Don't know what else I can do to make the sound more neutral again

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

Maybe I made a bad solderpoint or used a bad cable when I connecting IC1.1 with C14, will check it tomorrow. One thing is for sure: Without your mod the pedal sounds awful in a lot of settings. Can't believe EQD sells theirs without! Will also build in a blend knob with integrating a jfet...

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

Sorry didn't see your reply earlier, didn't show up in the bar. Thank you for answer. I give the pedal still a trial with different settings and now the main problem seems to be the lost of the high end in sustain setting beyond 12:00 and/or slower attack rates. Talked already with people in a...

    Delegate (Warden) Upgrades

I tried the mods (except point 2) and it improves the sound of the Delegate so much. Thanks a lot for your work. There is one thing I'm not so happy with the pedal, but it seems to be the same with the original Warden too. A bit of the low end gets lost in the compression, so it is not the...

    Organ Donor w/ demo vid

I've built the organ donor a few days ago and in my ears it sounds like the pitch shiftings are a bit out tune compared to the guitar signal which creates overlaying waves that we can hear like a vibe. Is it part of the algorithm that the octaves are inexact?

    HAARP

As far as I am informed the clock module influences the speed of the rate function. It could be possible that the arpeggios will appear as chord sounds if the speed is turned alle the way up. That could be defenitly interesting and I will share my experience with the clock module in the Haarp in...
