    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

Thanks, yes I saw. I just thought one algorithm could be made to use independently of where it is put. Of course resistors and caps etc has to be there to support it, but as far as algorithm goes I thought you could program the Spring one onto eproms and then fill the other slots with diverging...

    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

Thanks! I guess the "spring" option in both is the same? And then it's about what you want the other two to be.

    threeverb toggle and potentiometer positions

What would be the point of building the Radium springs and not the Threeverb if radium is fully covered by it? Or does the radium Spring Eprom do something different than Threeverb Eprom? Both builds have the switch on/off/on and the schematic is the same for both builds (Pythagoras v3)...

Did you manage to resolve this?

What if he knows them by heart though?

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

Thanks @Robert, do you forsee the difference between 2.5 to 2.7 (in that "direction") as having a more profound impact compared with 2.5 to 2.4 in this case ?

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

Are you asking me? (Or @MichaelW ?) I haven't built it yet so I haven't done any measures. Question was if I should put in the effort to get the prescribed 2.5 Zeners or just use the ones I got in the kit, 2.7?

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

Oh no! I have to go back and redo and resolder almost every build now...

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

Thanks, Yes I figured it will work with 2.4V and 2.7V and I would have gone with 2.7V if it wasn't for the comment in @MichaelW 's report linked above, where 2.4V to 2.5 made an audible difference. Si diodes like 4148's are roughly clipping at 0.6-0.7V and a red LED roughly at 1.7V which is...

    Chauffeur OD/Daily Driver Zener selection

I just got a kit for Chauffeur OD and it contained Zener diodes at 2.7V instead of the intended 2.5V After reading @MichaelW 's build report here I understood that there was a quite noticeable difference between 2.4V and 2.5V. Anyone with experience or an educated guess if 2.7V would work? Or if...

    Aion Elysium thumping noise

Did you hear back on this issue? I had a BBD chip with questionable markings. They sent me a new one that seemed better/more legit without any discussion. So not sure how much is a conscious strategy and how much are mistakes in the jungle of components out there.

SOLVED Aphrodite Overdrive... Anyone built yet?

(Minor edits) Thanks for this thread and your findings. I had the same problem(s). Squealing from the charge pump. I even blew one up on the breadboard during trobleshooting attempts. And some fizz as well at the higher gains. I got the hint somewhere to add 1k at the Savage pin 1&2 to R12...

    Sea Horse Mods

Is there a "stripped down (?)" Way of testing PT2399s? Or better.off socket them in some build and run through the ones you have?

    Sea Horse Mods

Just wanted to say thanks a lot for this @Chuck D. Bones ! I tried all five, but in the end I only choose the last/Shape mod. I felt some of the others changed the basic character of chorus/vibrato a bit more towards delay with modulation, but still happy to have tried them. I read elsewhere...

    Harmonic Energizer, Zapper, Parsec, ...

Many thanks both! Why would one choose to use an op-amp (one from TL072) versus either of MPF102/2N5458? Maybe that is for Robert to answer. My guess is that the original used the stand-alone transistor.

    Harmonic Energizer, Zapper, Parsec, ...

Hi, I was planning on building a copy of the Systech Hamronic Energizer and came across several implementations of it but using various different component values. First the schematic from here at pedalpcb (https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/Zapper.pdf) Then schematic from Aion FX, Parsec...

Radium Springs: Tweak values/trimpot For Tremolo Level?

I read that review as well and it is not super obvious what was done. After looking at the schematics, and if I was to build this, I would replace each of R7 and R16 10k resistors with either a 20k trimpot, and use middle leg an one of the outer, and cut the other outer. Probably best with legs...
