Hey @Lytt Effects, I goofed and used On-On toggles so I don't have the "stock" setting. But as I recall down was Glass and Up was Fat. It's basically turned 90 degrees from the retail pedal.

Nope, just the Ge diodes.

Not really a whine but more just "hiss". Like a high noise floor. Did you build yours on the latest rev of the PCB? The "fix"is in my build report.

Nope, it sounds great with the JJ 12AX7. It's still making the rotation for sure!

You'd probably dig this pedal @HamishR but you'd probably also mess with a the clipping diodes....cuz.....jus sayin.... :p

You mean the Xotic EP Booster? I think you can get the EP Booster to sound close to the Clandestine with the internal dip switches. But by default it's more transparent than the Clandestine/Secret Preamp. The 3 "EchoPlex" style boosters I've tried are the Clandestine (Secret Preamp), the AIONFx...

I did the demo on this build report. The stock Red Herring is definitely a little different sounding but all sound great. I think my least favorite of the 3 was the one with the PIO caps.

You mean that the pedal is on? That's a cell phone stand, Amazon has a ton of options.

Did you try the 4558 on both IC positions?
