the whooshing might be the jack wires crossing the board, I have some madbean boards he tells you in the build instructions to watch for that and try to keep them to the sides of the enclosure. nice clean build otherwise.

I've used it for both but with how little I use it no point having both for me.

did you use a lamp or will a (carefully set)led work? I've been eyeballing it since I got the email about the board sell out. Love to see what graphics you'll apply.

I(sadly)have 1 sitting here unboxed, just about all of them do make a connection, even if it's just connecting ground planes... I see at least 2 connections in the middle sockets on both boards to IC's... You might be able to save it with jumper wires.

and keeping the "same' plant alive continuously using the bottom stalks...

you might not have screwed it up, knowing where the led holes go on bean's boards(straight out on the pot side), the jacks probably were that high. good cover and tight build.

top looks tasty, but other parts make me pass... I'm addicted to breathing for some reason....
