    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

    It works! Thanks!

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

There it is. I'll try and get that redone.

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

Nope, I guess it's time for a long afternoon with a multimeter. Is there a shortlist of parts that control the timing that I can look at first? Shouldn't be, no.

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

So, I was finally able to swap the pots around (broke them of and put new ones in) but the problem seems to have gotten worse. Any ideas?

Makes sense. Thank you so much!

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

So, basically I can wire the CHS1 pad to any part of the box and it'll work...

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

The problem has been solved. Works just fine now. I can wire the pad to the bolt, but I've measured the resistance from the XLR to the spring and it is zero - shouldn't that serve the same purpose?

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

I noticed that, but I can't find what that "G" pin corresponds to. I can only see the 3 that I wired up.

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

This is the best schematic I can find: https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Neutrik/NC3MD-H?qs=43pPWqpsSNtroE%252BZVg28Dg%3D%3D&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4JL0hovG_AIVlonICh1BfgubEAAYASAAEgIO6fD_BwE

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

Update. I got everything to work and it turns out the LED is wired backwards. I gotta figure out how to fix that. Still confused about what to do with the CHS1 pad.

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

I've identified an issue with the wiring of the jacks that I'm planning on fixing tomorrow (they're designed to act as switches so the pins I wired up are disconnected when the cable is plugged in). I also sanded off a patch of the powder coat so the spring can make contact. As for the XLR jack...

    MBP SludgeHammer Not Working

UPDATE 1: Works just fine now. Working on figuring out what to do with the CHS1 pad. UPDATE 2: Got everything sorted. Thanks everyone! Not a PedalPCB build but I need some help troubleshooting. The MBP Sludgehammer that I just finished isn't working. It doesn't even turn on and the direct jack...

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

Never mind, I swapped the Lag and Rate pots around and I don't have a good way of fixing it so I guess I just have a weird sounding paperweight now.

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

This is pretty much the slowest it'll go, which is a fair bit faster than any demo I've seen. All knobs at 100%, rate all the way down.

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

Yeah I got it figured out. Is the rate supposed to be so fast though? It becomes pretty much unusable for anything other than wacky effects past 20%.

    Caesar Chorus - Hum/No Sound

Hi All, I just finished building a Caesar Chorus and it seems to be functioning like a synthesizer instead of a chorus. Turning the blend knob up kills the sound entirely and the pedal starts emitting a single sin/triangle wave (depending on the setting of the shape switch) as the speed knob is...

What's This Capacitor in the MBP SludgeHammer

Not PedalPCB, but there's a 2n2 capacitor in the SludgeHammer B.O.M. (C12) that does not appear in the shopping list. Anyone know what it should be? Looks like either ceramic or film based on the size.

    Caesar Chorus Capacitor Voltage

I figured, but I'm building another 9v circuit that says "25v minimum" on all the capacitors so I figured I'd ask.

    Caesar Chorus Capacitor Voltage

I'm buying parts for my Caesar build and there's no voltage ratings (just sizes) listed for the capacitors. Is there a lower limit I should be keeping to?
