9mm pots are now available at BLMS - Breaking news for PedalPCB forum people

I wrote to Larry this morning requesting that they add 9mm pots to their store. He wrote right back to say they'd have them up in a few days. And then an hour later, he wrote to say he made it live, presumably in response to my request.
Dig it:

Since this is like, new information man, I figured my people at PedalPCB should be the first to know.

I recall in another thread that some 9mm pots had too few threads to use on thicker enclosures. What's the status on these?

I don't know for sure, but I'll let you know when mine arrive. The diagram (3rd picture) appears to show the threaded area is 5mm. So 3 of those 5mm should stick above most enclosures, which should be plenty.

Almost forgot to answer your question. The ones from Love My Switches have plenty of thread to solidly mount on an enclosure with a washer. This is on a Tayda enclosure which seem slightly thicker than the enclosures from LMS.

I once had a 9mm pot that didn't reveal enough threads to mount, but it turned out the problem was not the pot, it was a PCB-mount switch on the same PCB that was taller than the pot, so the threads couldn't fully extend. I figured I should mention that in case that was the other person's issue.

Now I just hope they'll start stocking ones with smooth shafts and no bushings. I have many VFE projects on the agenda so I need bushingless ones!
