Found a small box of 5 GuitarPCB PUFF (Pumped Up Fuzz Face) boards with just the appropriate number of pre-measured & selected NOS PNP Ge BJTs with enough of the BOM'd charge pumps& pots, and decided to put that project to bed. Straight forward builds that work fine, but I tweaked them a bit to work with the 1590B enclosure artwork I've wanted use for a while. All I did was replace the 1N4001 paralleled protection diode with an in-series 1N5718 Schottky and flipped the pots around so the PCB wouldn't interfere with the top-mounted jacks. I also didn't use the 220pF caps across the B & C of the BJTs as they weren't necessary. Great sounding classic Fuzz Face circuit.
