Acoustic Preamp Design - Preamp & EQ

Wow, the only thing this is missing is dual input. When I had a regular acoustic gig (back in the olden days) I used a Raven Labs PMB-1.
At the time it was the best thing in the market for dual source (Piezo + internal mic) acoustic guitar and bass players.
I don't gig anymore but I've been following the Grace designs stuff. Pricey as hell.

Pricey as hell is right, that's why I started this whole thing. Felix is amazing, but wow, not worth that price. After years of experimenting with dual-source, I have moved away from that and simply use IR on my piezo pickups. Sounds better, simpler, no feedback issues, etc. Back then I always assumed I'd build the single channel Gamma PreQ first, and then add onto that with a dual source. But now I'm more interested in making a smaller 125b size of this one, call it Gamma PreQ Mini, 7 knobs instead of 10. Same circuit, just delete Boost, Volume and Notch Q knob. IDK, we'll see.

For sure acoustic IR's have changed the game completely. I have some acoustic IR's that I can run that "almost" make my Tele sound like a J-45.
That's the "aha" moment I had when I realized that all this crazy stuff we do with guitars, amps, pickups, pedals, etc contributes like 5% to the tone. :ROFLMAO: The other 95% is all in the speakers and cabs, and by extension, IR's. (ok that might be an exaggeration....but not by much heh)
