Well I am terrible at these but I thought I would just tell you my thoughts on this. First of all the pre amp side is pretty solid. Lots of great tones out of it and I think it’s pretty usable. The fuzz side in my opinion kinda sucks. It could be the transistor I have it (I did socket so I will try others) but it just sounds like a loud muddy mess to me. I did use a 2n1306 per the build doc but I know there will be some variation between transistors. I think just the pre side would make for a better pedal. I am giving it 4 stars since I don’t like the fuzz and (this is big) I had to use a bunch of my sacred 1uf 3.5mm caps. Maybe it will grow on me. It certainly won’t go in my reclaim pile but I doubt it makes an appearance on my board.
