I finished wiring up the aurora deluxe and I definitely have some troubleshooting to complete.
I have sound and bypass, but only on one side of the blend. So my really basic starting question is - which direction (CCW or CW) is the clean vs the compressor for this circuit. In my case 10 (full CW) is passing sound, with level, volume and tone control working - I can't tell for sure if sustain is working. Somewhere around noon the sound gets sputtery, and full CCW is silent.
Without confirming, I am assuming I am passing the clean side of the circuit
I didn't have time to really sit and troubleshoot, checking the op amps for power, and pulling the board out of it's case to check solder joints. There are some 90's (or maybe 80's) resistors in here, which look a bit bad (the print was smeared) but they check out fine.
One change from the basic build is that i used NE5532AP instead of RC4558P. This is a suitable alternative in the build docs, so I wouldn't expect it to do anything.
Any first points to check, beyond Op Amp power, are welcome.
