I built this a while ago during my search for a good clean preamp for my guitar. Not too bad of a process, the only thing that was difficult was waiting for my grey wire to be delivered. I may do some opamp rolling as I'm not a big fan of 4558, I currently have some 4559 and NE5532 that I'm curious about. I set the distortion trimmer all the way off and set the compressor trimmer by ear, I am going to set it as stated in the build docs at a later point when I'm done with a couple intensive projects.
Hardware and potentiometers are from LMS, enclosure and lm13700 from SBP, Mouser provided resistors, capacitors, transistors, opamps, and the dc/dc converter.
I am starting to color code the knobs based on function. Black is EQ/Filter, Green is Gain/Level/Volume, and White is Other.
