I finally got around to this after working through my PCB backlog. @Aleph Null knocked it out of the park with this circuit, the tap tempo implementation is a great feature alongside a strong PT2399 design. The calibration was a bit of a pain admittedly but I eventually got the led to track with the repeats accurately. All the controls are usable in the majority of their sweep, I also relabeled some of the controls to maintain a five character scheme minus the Divisions switch. Left-to-right, top-to-bottom:
Delay (Delay), Tails (Repeats), Blend (Mix), Div (Div), Width (Width), Tempo (Rate), Depth (Depth), and Pitch (Frequency).
I did a few mods to this;
1. U3 is an OPA2134PA since it is just a buffer, I really like this opamp as a buffer IC.
2. C4 and C12 are MLCC, it's something I noticed Kevin over at Aion FX does in his power section filters so I did a little reading on it. My inferred conclusions are that MLCC are used on the IC power pins to decouple to ground since the general drawbacks that MLCC have are irrelevant in this application.
3. The Dry Kill switch is on the face of the pedal since I hate switches on the walls of the enclosure.
4. I widened the distance between the I/O jacks since I personally dislike the jacks on larger pedals being close together.
Stompbox Parts:
Matte Pink 1590BB, Momentary Footswitch, optocoupler, IC Sockets, JRC4558D.
Love My Switches:
SPST Switches, 3PDT Footswitch, Potentiometers.
Mouser:
Resistors, Capacitors, Jacks, OPA2134PA.
Electric Canary:
MPC4100 A25K Digital Potentiometer, ATTiny84A with BonTempo algorithm.
PPCB:
PT2399 IC, Diodes.
Scamazon:
3mm LEDs, 3mm LED Lens.
As I still don't have a laser printer to try film free decals I used my trusy Brother label maker.
