Amp related question - anyone have this happen?

Just retubed my 68 Custom Princeton - biased them w the eurotubes probe. All good. I remove the probe and reinstall the tubes. I decided to spray some Deoxit on the tube pins and push em in and out a few times. flip it on, ready to rock and .......buzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZ shuts off. Loud cursing ensues....i pull the fuse and its blown.

Chances that not waiting long enough to let Deoxit Dry is the culprit? I had pulled the chassis back a bit (the innards werent even really exposed) to access the bias pot but wasnt poking around inside at all.

Off to hunt down some fuses. Damn pissed........

Update: this is my first 6V6 based amp. the key pin in the middle of a 6v6 tube? apparently it can be overridden with some force.

new fuse, a blast or 3 of compressed air, 15 minutes of perusing the guts for anything amiss, properly inserted tubes = we're back in business.
