Anyone seen this type of audio Jack before?

I have an old cable that doesn't work and isn't passing continuity, so I want to remove the Jack's and either rewire/replace them. The problem is that I can't seem to get it off. I've removed the outside cover, but nothing else seems to be removable.

Any thoughts?

If it's what I'm thinking, that ring would be separate from the rest of the plug housing. Put a flat tip screwdriver in that slot and twist, that should expand the ring.

Short of that, just cut the sucker off.

Thanks everyone. In the end I was able to get them off, but there appears to be no way to reuse them (ie, can't open up the main housing to actually redo any connections. I'll just replace them

Check to see if the Jack shaft unscrews from the the Brass body.
I'm thinking they solder the wires on the jack, screw the Brass body back on & then slide the Collar in place and screw the Brass sleeve to lock it in.
