Arachnid rotary troubles...

So I built two arachnids in one box. One works perfectly, the other has an issue. Patch positions 2 and 3 don’t work. Using a multimeter set to continuity, I found that the rotary is not connecting to itself on pins 2 or 3 when selected. Not sure why this is. Perhaps a bad switch? Is there a way to work around this?

make sure you have good connections to the board for the pins for 2 and 3, since that would be something you could easily fix. You could also see if there is a problem on the board between the pads for those two pins and the FV-1 chip (the schematic shows that pin 2 should connect to pin 16 and pin 3 should connect to pin 17). if you have confirmed the terminals on the rotary switch for the 2 and 3 positions are not connecting to the center terminal it sounds like a bad switch. I don't think you have an easy workaround aside from replacing the switch.

Yeah, I’m sure it’s the switch. Switch Pins are correctly connected to FV1 pins 16 and 17. It’s just switch itself. The center pin of the switch does not connect to pins 2 or 3. I’ll look into getting a replacement.
